BACK ON TRACK
• The Colorado Rockies continue their seven-day, six-game homestand with the second game of a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds … after an off-day on Monday, will host the Washington Nationals for three games Tuesday-Thursday.
• The Rockies snapped a four-game losing streak with their 10–4 win over the Reds Friday night … scored a season-high 10 runs while going 8-for-18 with runners in scoring position.
• The Rockies are coming off a 2–5 road trip to Detroit (2–1) and Philadelphia (0–4) … the sweep in Philadelphia was the club’s first series loss of the season.
A GOOD MONTH
• With last night’s win the Rockies are guaranteed to finish the month of April with a record above .500 … excluding a three-game month last October(1–2), the Rockies have been .500 or better in each month dating back to last June … are 65–62 overall since June 1, 2021, the seventh-best winning percentage in the NL.
• The Rockies have finished .500 or better in April 12 previous times in franchise history … a win tonight would give them a .571 winning percentage this month, their sixth-best in franchise history (excluding 1995’s 4–1 start in April).
